Goodbye and Hello!
As I leave Ashmount school after seven happy years I would like to thank everyone for their support. The list could go on forever but I would like to mention; the governors, parents, staff, Alliance schools and, of course, the children.
I am delighted to be able to leave the leadership of Ashmount in such outstanding hands. Our new Headteacher David Deacon is brilliant and nationally recognised for his work. He will be supported by Deputy Head Abi Steady who was recently recognised by The Leicester Mercury as Inspirational Teacher of the year. New Head of Primary Claire Malpas is also a brilliant teacher and leader. Added to that we have the amazing Helena, Gina and Katie - all Newly Qualified Teachers who we have trained ourselves here in school. Ashmount will go from strength to strength.
