• First year celebrations

  On Friday 30th January we celebrated a year in the new school on Thorpe Hill. We were delighted to welcome back Matt Hampson and all the money raised on the day went toward his Get Busy Living appeal. Students and staff dressed up and in a special afternoon assembly we had examples of what each class had done to raise money for Get Busy Living ranging from bike rides to car washes to putting Dave and David in baked beans!

  A great day to celebrate a great first year - thanks to everyone who took part. See some of the pictures below.

  

• Volleyball victory

  Congratulation to members of the Ashmount staff team who recently joined with colleagues from Elizabeth Woodville Primary School, Groby, to take part in the Leicestershire and Rutland Sport Volleyball Tournament, held at Rushey Mead School, Leicester. The team won four out of their five games to place them second in their heat and third in the competition overall.
