  • Halloween Disco

    Many thanks to everyone who attended our Halloween Disco on Tuesday 25th October. It proved to be our most popular disco yet with over 100 pupils, parents and staff attending the event to dance to live music and take part in some spooky party games.  
  • New Playhouse for our Early Years Foundation Stage

    Pupils in our Early Years Foundation Stage are enjoying playing in their newly decorated playhouse. The playhouse was painted (and wallpapered inside) by members of staff from Tesco Express Loughborough during our half term break. Jody Branston, Tesco’s Community Champion, said: “We regularly support community projects and we are so happy we could help out such a lovely school.”

  • Quorn Hunt Charity Donation

    Thank you to the Quorn Hunt for raising £650 for Ashmount at their Summer Proms Evening. The event included a jousting contest and music performed by a 30-piece orchestra. Josephine Jewell, Joint Master of the Quorn Hunt, and Ashmount governor Kim Turner called into school for a tour and to present the cheque to Headteacher David Deacon.

  • Harvest Festival Donations

    Thank you to everyone who sent in food donations as part of this year’s Harvest Festival Celebrations. These were donated to the Bridge Charity in Loughborough which delivers a number of housing related advice, support and assistance services to homeless and vulnerably housed people in the Borough of Charnwood, Leicestershire and Rutland. Jade Pegg from The Bridge, said: ‘On behalf of all the staff, volunteers and clients of the Bridge, may I please extend my sincere thanks to all of the staff, parents and pupils for the fantastic food donation received on Thursday 6th October. We have many people walk through our doors desperate for items that many of us take for granted, and so donations such as these are imperative to make the lives of these people a little better.”

  • Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning

    Thank you to everyone who sent in cakes and donations for our recent coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event, which was hosted by our Secondary students, raised £250. First Prize was awarded to our Lead Communication Mentor Kirsty North for her Ice Cream cake.
