  • Gymnastics success

    Recently we held a gymnastics festival at school. Here is the message P.E. and Sports leader Claire Malpas sent following the event:

     

    The Gymnastics festival we hosted was fab! Lots of brilliant gymnastics work, beautiful behaviour from all the children and the professional Gymnastics judges were very impressed by the standard.

    Ashmount are through to the final with the winning team of children from Newcroft Primary school so we will be attending that too.

  • Santa Fun Runners

    On Friday 15rth January we were delighted to present certificates to Will, Tommy and Kelsey Pattison who all ran in the Ashmount Team in The Loughborough Rotary Club Santa Fun Run in December. Their Nan Cath works in Class 7 at school.They all got very good times and between them raised £160.00 for the event. Well done and thanks from all at Ashmount.
  • Get into teaching!

    Through our Teaching School status Ashmount offers School Direct initial teacher training with Derby University.. This is for graduates wishing to become primary teachers. We also work closely with Limehurst school for secondary training

  • Happy New Year

    Ashmount School would like to wish all of our students, parents, carers and supporters a Happy 2016. We hope that you had a peaceful Christmas. We look forward to welcoming back the children and young people on  Wednesday 6th January.

     

    You will shortly receive our latest fund raising idea - small change collection boxes. There will be a letter with the boxes explaining how we hope to use them to even further boost the Ashmount Appeal funds. We would be interested to hear your thoughts on this latest fund raising idea.
