Hello my name is Clare and I am the class teacher for Class 4. I am supported by a student teacher, level 7 and amazing classroom support assistants. In Class 4 we currently have a mix of year 3, 4 and 5 children. We follow the National Curriculum in a creative way ensuring all subjects are differentiated to meet individual needs. Literacy and Mathematics are currently taught in ability groups in class bubbles. All pupils have the opportunity to develop their phonics, reading, writing and comprehension skills. Again, these lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of individuals.
All Classes provide parents with an online learning Journal called Tapestry; this is instead of a formal written report at the end of the year. Tapestry is a great way for parents and carers to see the progress their child is making and see a visual report showing the involvement taking place. It is designed for parents and carers to access after each term, and is a two-way system where parents and carers can add to it at home.
A link to Tapestry can be found at the bottom of this page.
You may view your child’s individual Learning Journey on their Tapestry account - https://eylj.org/login/ If you are unsure of your login or password please contact us by phone or through your child’s diary.
