Jarrod Nel - Sportsperson of the year
On Monday 2nd December we attended the Charnwood Sport Person of the Year Awards at Burleigh Court. We were delighted that our own Jarrod Nel achieved the joint winners award for junior disabled sports person of the year for his horse riding. Jarrod and his dad were there to receive the prize and trophy. Well done Jarrod - just reward for all the hard work.
Our school staff Workplace Challenge team came runners up in the Outstanding contribution to sport and physical activity category. This after winning the Workplace Challenge award for the third year running. -well done to all of them.
These are elements in the overall ethos of success and high aspiration that we seek to promote across our outstanding school.
